In Memoriam: Sister M. Fidelis Therese, O.Carm.

Sister M. Fidelis Therese O.Carm. went home to the Lord on September 30, 2024, at St. Patrick’s Manor, Framingham, MA, in the 35th year of her religious life.

God blessed her with multiple talents in music, art, photography, and computer graphics. Sr. Fidelis created prayer cards, theme posters and Mass booklets for the January 21st celebrations, and designed several gift items for the Mother Angeline gift shop. She also helped compile the booklets, Ven. Mary Angeline Teresa McCrory, O.Carm. – Mother and Friend to Priests and Model of Vocation. Sr. Fidelis Therese played the accordion and melodica, wrote music, songs, and poetry, and was always very generous in using her gifts whenever and wherever they were needed.

Sister Fidelis Therese was full of love for her Community and she will remain forever close in our minds and hearts.

In Memoriam: Sister Mary Matthew James of All Saints

Sister Mary Matthew James of All Saints passed away peacefully on February 14, 2025, at Ozanam Hall. Sister Matthew was in the 61st year of her religious life.

Sister Matthew diligently handled numerous challenging tasks at the Motherhouse, where she served for forty-six years. She worked in close proximity to Venerable Mother M. Angeline Teresa and the members of the General Council. Sr. Matthew was blessed to be with Venerable Mary Angeline Teresa when the Lord called Mother Angeline to Himself. In every way, Sister Matthew supported the promotion of Mother Angeline’s Cause and lived her Charism to the full. May she rest in peace.

IN MEMORIAM: SR. M. PATRICIA OF THE QUEEN OF CARMEL, O.CARM.

Sister M. Patricia of the Queen of Carmel, O.Carm.

Sister M. Patricia of the Queen of Carmel passed into eternal life on Sunday May 9, 2021 at St. Patrick’s Manor, in the 65th year of her religious life.

Sr. Patricia had extensive training in the field of nursing including a Master’s Degree, as well as Nurse Practitioner. Her most recent Missions were St. Patrick’s Home (1980-1996), St. Joseph Nursing Home (1996-2014) and St. Patrick’s Manor (2014-2021). Sr. Patricia served on the Commission for the Cause of Beatification and Canonization of Mother M. Angeline Teresa, and she was devoted to making Mother better known. She gifted memberships and renewals in the Mother Angeline Society for family and friends every year and purchased materials for distribution to those she met. She was also a great promoter of vocations to the Carmelite Congregation, generously distributing vocation materials wherever she went.

Sr. Patricia was full of love for her Community and for the aged and infirm residents she served throughout more than six decades as a Carmelite Sister. She will remain forever close in our minds and hearts.
